Five for Friday

It's the end of another week. I really look forward to these posts because it means I'm one week closer to being home again (btw- 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days). It's been a weird week though. I've had too many vivid dreams to be well rested (I blame the brownies I made on Sunday), my students have been riotous a lot this week (due to Spring finally getting here and the radioactive rain yesterday). With Spring finally peeking out of it's bed, my allergies have gone a little crazy, but I'm dealing with it and just keep reminding myself that it's worth it to sneeze and sniffle all day long if I don't have to turn on my heater and I can walk around without a heavy coat. I hope you're also having a wonderful week and keep reminding yourself of the little things that make your life special, because they're there, you just gotta look for them!

These are so adorable. I'm going to try to make them during my 20 in 20 project that starts on Sunday!

My favorite color. How much do I want to be here walking through these? SO much.

I want this to be true of myself.

I'm loving this couch. I'm not usually drawn to black, but the pattern on the couch feels like it would be workable with bright accessories and would be easy to hide stains from kids. Just an idea I want to keep in mind.

My love affair with turquoise, peacock and sapphire blue are still going strong. Purple will always be my personal favorite color, but these shades of blue are a really close second now. Seeing this kitchen makes me want to cook. Sigh, someday I'll have my own kitchen in my own colors.

I love the blue! I'm still addicted to my red, though, can't get enough of it. Although, Carl picked out a tourquise/aqua for the offic, and I'm really liking it, thinking of doing more somewhere in the house, and quite possibly outside trimming the house in it. I think it would look great with the brick and dull trim, perk it up! I would love that blue kitchen with my red graniteware!
